Wanting to learn a bit more about c# I continued working on this little program.
Changes from the previous version:
- changed the way data is displayed, easier to read and use i think
- added the posibility to see pressure in inHg.
- added the ability to fetch and display raw TAF data (no decoding)
- fixed a few bugs introduced along the way
- made the filesize bigger:)
Tested on WM 6.5 and XP.

Hello,
I come across Metar Mobile while googling for METAR application for wm.
That is grat application, thanks a lot for it.
Couple problems:
1. Over all the application looks pretty good on PC but on my phone with 800×480 screen resolution all lines of the METAR are mixed.
2. It will be nice to have bigger controls to expand/collapse station details. It is really hard to press it even with stylus, not talking about fingers.
3. Pressure is displayed in hPa. It will be nice to have an option to switch between hPa and inches of mercury.
Thanks,
Artiom

Hy Artiom,
)
Unfortunately my pda broke a few months ago and didn’t have the money to buy another one.
I never tested the application with bigger resolution screens, only with QVGA. (probably that’s why it’s hard to press the image, on my screen was big enough
I’ll try to find a way to make some tests this days and let you know.

I’ve experienced your problem too (on winxp though) and i think i’ve fixed it with the new version.
I’ve changed the expand/colapse system to work on a bigger area.
I’ve added the option (in the configuration panel) to display pressure values as inHg
Please download the new version (same link) and tell me your opinion.
All the best,
Catalin
